KONE acquires Spanish MARVI elevator group

Marvi ascensores MARVI maintains over 12 000 elevators in Spain.
KONE, Finnish specialist in elevators and their maintenance, has acquired the Spanish MARVI Elevator group operating in the region of Catalonia. MARVI installs, maintains and modernizes elevators. The company has an assembly and logistics centre in Lérida, Catalonia. The company employs approximately 240 professionals, and it has a maintenance base of 12 500 elevators.

– This acquisition strengthens KONE’s position in Spain and helps us to improve our operations in the eastern provinces of the country, says Eric Maziol, EVP and Area Director for West and South Europe, KONE.

Established in 1965 MARVI is one of the market leaders in the eastern provinces of Spain.
