Itella establishes extensive transportation network in Russia

Itella / Mikko Käkelä Itella NLC’s warehouses operate already in seven central economic regions of Russia.
A Finnish specialist in logistics and warehousing, Itella Logistics has launched partial and full load transportation, and international scheduled groupage consignments to Russia. The LTL service will also include domestic transports across the whole of Russia later this year.

Itella Logistics' service portfolio in Russia includes now land, air and sea transportation, as well as warehousing. Customs clearance services are provided with Itella Logistics' partner, NCB (National Customs Broker), operating at the same premises in Moscow.

The operations of the subsidiary of Itella Logistics, Itella NLC, extend from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Vladivostok. The road transport network of the company is built on its logistics centers located in all the key economic areas of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Jekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Novosibirsk and Vladivostok.

Warehousing includes also added value services such as delivering, packaging, unpacking, labeling and cross-docking. Itella NLC is the leading warehouse provider in Russia and its total warehouse capacity is approximately 600,000 square meters. High safety standards are followed in these warehouses and the company has been granted the ISO quality certification.
