Futuremark cooperates with world’s leading mobile operator China Mobile
FuturemarkFuturemark, a leading developer of performance-analysis software and services for smart phones, has signed a remarkable contract with the world's largest mobile phone operator China Mobile. Futuremark will develop a new benchmarking software, which will enable objective performance measurement of cell phones using China Mobile's smart phone operating system.
Futuremark will continue holding the trademark licence for the new software, intending to market it also to other companies within the mobile phone industry.
- Even small improvements in the performance of mobile phones are significant when they have an impact on as many customers as China Mobile's over 450 million subscribers, says CEO of Futuremark Tero Sarkkinen.
The new Benchmark will be available for public licensing by the end of March 2010.
Futuremark Oy is headquartered in Espoo, Finland and has offices in Shanghai and Silicon Valley.
