Kukouri Mobile Entertainment, a mobile games company based in Kotka, Finland, and Chillingo, the publisher of numerous well-known hit games, have formed a partnership. The news was first reported by Kymen Sanomat. According to the newspaper, the partnership was announced at a gaming event in San Francisco on Thursday 8 March.

The partnership between Chillingo and Kukouri involves Kukouri’s game Tiny Troopers which Chillingo plans to publish on the iOS and Android mobile platforms. Chillingo has released a multitude of popular mobile games, including the Finnish hit Angry Birds.

According to Kymen Sanomat, representatives of both parties, Chillingo’s Director Chris Byatte and Kukouri’s Vice President Kim Soares, are excited about the partnership. Byatte applauds Kukouri as one of the most talented game developers in the industry.

Kukouri Mobile Entertainment was established in 2011 and the leading role in its Tiny Troopers game, as its name suggests, is played by miniature soldiers.

In addition to Angry Birds, UK-based Chillingo’s games list includes Cut the Rope, Contre Jour, Feed Me Oil, iDracula and Parking Mania, among others.
