Finnair opens a new route to Bergen
FinnairFinnair begins its summer flight season with a new route to Bergen, the second biggest city in Norway. The flights will continue until September 29th and are flown daily except on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Finnair's Vice President for Route and Strategy Planning, Petteri Kostermaa says that the main reason for the opening of a summer route to Bergen is the high tourism demand from Asia, particularly from Japan. Finnair also expects tourists from southern European countries, America and Finland to make use of the airline's new route. The route will be flow with Embaer aircrafts.
Bergen's fascination lies in its world famous fjords. It is the most popular travel destination in the whole of Norway.
Finnair operates daily flights also to the Norwegian capital city, Oslo. During weekdays Finnair flies to Oslo four times and on the weekends three times a day.
