Lehtikuva / Pipsa Matikka Part of the proceeds from the game will be donated for the protection of the Kalahari meerkats.
Rovaniemi-based Lapland Studios will publish the very first Finnish console game, which can be loaded onto Nintendo Wii console. The game, which tells the story of African meerkats, can be downloaded onto the console through the WiiWare download service.

Lead the Meerkats is a game for users of all ages, which simulates the life of meerkats. The game’s aim is to form and lead one’s own meerkat pack. The task is for instance to collect food and defend the pack from enemies.

Part of the proceeds from the game will be donated for the protection work of Kalahari Desert meerkats, a project which is headed by the Kalahari Meerkat Project.

Lead the Meerkats game has been produced by Lapland-based InariaInteractive game company, which is under the ownership of the 2004 established Lapland Studios.
