Finland is the world’s hottest chili champion

The Finnish city of Tampere witnessed an eating world championship contest of the world’s hottest chili Naga Morichi on August 21st. The winner of the competition was Finnish Ari Hirvonen who consumed outstanding 82,02 grams of the chili, breaking the previous record by 32 grams. A total of 20 contenders took part in the competition.
 
The Naga Morichi world championship was held in association with Naga 2010 chili festival held in Tampere. Naga 2010 was the first festival in Finland dedicated exclusively for chilies. The festival offered chili knowledge, and many different types of chilli-based food samples and delicacies.
