Fazer, the Finnish catering, bakery and confectionery company, has the highest reputation ranking in Finland. Fiskars, the global consumer products company, has the second highest ranking followed by the Finland’s leading coffee company Paulig. The rankings are based on the latest Reputation Institute’s 2012 Finnish Country RepTrack rankings, an annual study measuring the public perceptions of 80 biggest companies in Finland.
The study measures the overall trust, esteem, admiration and feelings the public holds towards the chosen companies, as well as their perceptions across seven different feature categories including good leadership, governance and performance and workplace.
The other top companies on top ten were Kone, Valio, Nokian Renkaat, Orion, S-Ryhma, Veikkaus and Tikkurila. The top five, Fazer, Fiskars, Paulig, Kone and Valio all achieved ranking above 80 points which is internationally a good score.
- The Finnish companies are ranking very well by international comparisons. For example, in the USA, only two companies have scored over 80 points, comments Riku Ruoholahti, Associate, Reputation Institute.
Kone did remarkable well in leadership rankings with the score of 85.7 which is 10 points higher than in Konecranes with the second best leadership ranking, and 20 points higher than in Nokia which has sank in leadership rankings.
