Software solution provider Identoi Ltd and German meter reading company Minol Messtechnik GmbH have concluded a deal according to which Identoi will supply Minol with a mobile software solution that facilitates meter installation.

The software will be operated by Minol’s 900 employees who will install energy, water and electricity meters in Germany, Austria, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Italy and China. The software will help installers to, for example, read meter values and send work reports wirelessly.

— This meter installation solution extends the previous meter reading solution provided by Identoi. In meter reading we reliably process tens of thousands of transactions per day during the peak season, says Ralf Görner, General Manager of Minol.

— The project has a significant value and is challenging due to the tight delivery schedule. We are excited about this new project with Minol as they are an important reference for us. I’m convinced that this project will be continued and will help us to reach new customers in Germany, says Sakari Vaara, Founder & CEO of Identoi.

In addition to mobile workforce management solutions, Identoi’s services include material management and fleet management solutions. The company has more than 200 client companies, the majority of them in Finland. Its services are also used in Poland, Germany and France. The Finnish companies Ruukki, Lappset and YIT all utilise Identoi’s services.

In Finland, Identoi’s main branches are located in Oulu and Kuopio.
