EU reaches over 150 000 Europeans via online survey

A Helsinki-based company Fountain Park, a specialist in web services for proactive leadership, has carried out a European Union-wide online survey. The survey, which was implemented in six languages, has already had over 150 000 participants from the different EU member countries.

Participants made over 11 000 proposals about how the European Union could improve their lives. At the same time the participants had a chance to look at each others' proposals and estimate their relevance. These evaluations were made over 100 000 times.

TellBarroso.eu-online survey was initiated by the Centre for European Studies and it was carried out by Fountain Park. The results, which were published on Tuesday in Brussels, showed that the proposals were centered around issues on energy, environment and education.

The on-line interview is still open and it can be accessed via the following link: http://www.tellbarroso.eu/en/

The British company Horizon Scanning Centre has recently chosen Fountain Park as one of its partners. Fountain Park is the company's only non-UK partner, as well as the only provider of web-based services.
