The Helsinki restaurant Chez Dominique has once again been picked as one of the world’s 50 best restaurants. Finland’s only restaurant to hold two Michelin stars ranks at 35th. Chez Dominique’s place has dropped from its earlier placings of 21st and 23rd.
The list was announced on Monday evening in London and, as last year, first place was taken by the Copenhagen restaurant Noma. In second and third places came the Spanish restaurants El Celler De Can Roca and Mugaritz.
More than 800 experts in the restaurant field vote in the San Pellegrino 50 Best Restaurants competition. The competition has been run since 2002 by the British Restaurant Magazine.
