Champion Door delivers hangar doors to aircraft giant Airbus

International aircraft manufacturer Airbus has made a significant order of airport hangar doors to the Finnish industrial door manufacturer Champion Door located in Nivala. The value of the order is several million euros, and the hangar doors will be delivered to Airbus’s seven factories around Europe.

Airbus belongs to the European Aeronautic and Aeronautic Defense and Space Company, which is the world’s second biggest manufacturer of aircrafts. According to Finnish Kauppalehti-magazine the three-year contract includes a continuation option for three more years.

The doors to be delivered to Airbus’s factories are hangar doors up to 100 square metres in size. Champion Door is an expert manufacturer of large industrial doors, and half of the company’s production is exported to different parts of Europe. The company employs over thirty people.
