Cargotec delivers subsea load and module handling systems for Hallin Marine
Hallin Marine Specialist in subsea operations, Singaporean Hallin Marine is a leading services provider to the energy industriesAccording to Hallin Marine the new 84 metres long and 32 metres wide twin-hulled vessel will be named CSS Derwent. The completion of the vessel is the culmination of a five-year project designed to deliver large boat capability at the price of a much smaller vessel, with a primary focus on light well intervention. CSS Derwent was designed by STX Canada Marine Inc.
Cargotec will supply the vessel a 150 tonne subsea active heave-compensated knuckle-jib crane with a 3,000m wire capacity, an offshore service crane and several remotely operated launch and recovery systems.
The systems will be moonpool or deck-operated. They include winch systems for operating the devices and a module-handling system with a tower, moonpool-handling system and a fully integrated deck-skid system.
