Cabforce teams up with Estonian Air
Cabforce Cabforce launched officially at the Nordic Travel Fair in JanuaryJust weeks after its official launch, Finnish start-up Cabforce.com appears to be going from strength to strength.
The online booking service for taxis, executive cars and minibuses says Estonian Air is the first airline to give public access on its website to Cabforce. Estonian Air passengers can now make bookings at the same time as their flight tickets.
The Espoo-based company says it expects to grow in the future with similar partnerships.
— Co-operation with the Estonian national airline is a prime example of how a taxi service can be added to a partner’s service portfolio, without the need for them to invest in any supply network building and facilitation technology, says Tommi Holmgren, CEO and Co-founder of Cabforce.
The service is currently available in Helsinki, Tallinn, St Petersburg, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London, Brussels and Paris. Cabforce hopes to cover forty cities by the end of the year.
Similar to hotel and flight aggregation sites, the Cabforce.com search engine finds local cab, executive car and minibus providers and delivers a fully inclusive fixed price, which is paid on a secure site with a credit card.
By making an advance booking, the passenger no longer needs to negotiate with local drivers about routes, prices and payment methods.
— We are happy to be the first airline in the world to provide public access to the Cabforce.com service for all our passengers, says Enn Lamp, head of the sales and distribution department.
— The service is ideal for business travelers who wish to pre-pay the transfers between the airport and hotel with their company credit card for easy expense management.
