— It’s fantastic that this product of decades of work should culminate in Iron Sky’s global premiere in Berlin of all places. I hope that the film’s anti-fascist message will get more resonance from the screening which will open the doors for international success, enthused the director, Timo Vuorensola.

The film is set in the near future when the moon Nazis, who have been hiding away on the dark side of the moon for seventy years, attack the earth. This science fiction comedy was produced on a 7.5 million euro budget and its distribution rights have been sold to nearly 30 countries.

Produced as an international effort, the film’s production was the work of the Finnish studios Blind Spot Pictures, the German 27 Films Production and the Australian New Holland Pictures.

Iron Sky will reach Finnish theatres in April.
