Atria hires 750 seasonal employees
Atria Plc., one of Finland’s largest food processing companies is offering seasonal employment to approximately 750 extra employees this summer. The company’s production units are in Nurmo, Kauhajoki and Kuopio. A majority of the seasonal workers are employed at Nurmo factory where seasonal products such as sausages and grill steaks are manufactured.
Summer is the most important season for Atria. Most of this season’s extra employees are hired from May/June until the end of August.
Although the majority of the extra work force is hired for manufacturing tasks, Atria also employs approximately 30 employees for sales, financial and human resources departments as well as customer service duties. Every new employee is expected to have a hygiene proficiency certificate.
Atria Plc. offers the most popular seasonal jobs in the whole of Seinäjoki region. The company received 2400 job applications this year.
