From Thursday, January 21st onwards airline company Air Finland will begin offering also holiday packages. Air Finland Holidays will sell all-inclusive holiday packages with Air Finland flights, airport transfers and accommodation.

The new tour operator aims at taking approximately 30 000 holiday makers overseas during the first year of its operation. This means that the company aims at hitting the bull’s eye and joining the top ten tour operators in Finland. The company’s long term goal has been set on 100 000 passengers. The first holiday destinations are Greece, Turkey and Spain. The holidays can be booked online or through dealers.

Established in 2002 Air Finland explains its entry to the new business sector for instance by customer feedback and requests, the increased predictability of the company’s business activities and the company’s desire to continue growing.

According to preliminary information, the airline company’s turnover for 2009 was over 40 million Euros and business profit over two million Euros. The passenger numbers for scheduled flights grew by nine per cent, but due to setbacks in charter flight traffic the year’s total passenger number declined to 235 000 from previous year’s 350 000 passengers.
