Halti continues as the official clothing supplier of Alpine World Ski Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen 2011

Halti.fiPresence at major championships is an effective marketing channel for HaltiHalti is the official clothing supplier and one of the main sponsors of FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on 7-20th February 2011. The agreement includes also the provision of clothing for championship organisers and 1,200 volunteer workers.
This partnership will strengthen Halti's investment in international product marketing and enhance its close cooperation with the International Ski Federation FIS. Halti became the official clothing supplier to the Alpine World Ski Championships for the first time at Åre, Sweden in 2007. This partnership continued in Val d'Isère, France in 2009. Alongside the GAP2011 project, Halti is already looking forward to Schladming, where the next FIS Alpine World Ski Championships will be held in 2013.
- Cooperation with Halti has worked excellently ever since Halti first joined us in 2007 at Åre Alpine World Ski and Sapporo Nordic World Ski Championships. We will continue working together in positive spirits, says President of the FIS, Gian Franco Kasper.
The championships at Garmisch-Partenkirchen will take place in the middle of a key market area for Halti, the German speaking Alps. The Halti GAP2011 collection will be available for sale to consumers during the winter season 2010-2011. Distribution of the championship collection and fan merchandise has been agreed exclusively with Intersport Germany.
