Goodnews specifies: Smart Map developed by Red Solutions Finland
Friday, 26 June, 2009
The Smart Map designed primarily to provide tourists a fuller and more convenient experience of the south-eastern Finnish town of Lappeenranta has been developed by Red Solutions Finland Oy, the developer of the software Jayden M Khakurel points out.
A previously published article Smart map guides tourists in lappeenranta may have given an inadequate picture of the service.
The Smart map uses Near Field Communication, NFC-technology, which is familiar to us for instance through barcodes. Red Solutions has also developed several other applications using NFC-technology.
Red Solutions has also been awarded recognition for its Smart Map in a Finnish-Russian business idea competition earlier on in June.
