Cargotec signs 20 million euro load handling solution orders to China

Cargotec has received new orders worth approximately 20 million euro for the delivery of MacGregor bulk handling cranes and hatch covers. The equipment for the first order will be delivered for seventeen 37 000 dwt bulk carriers. The vessels will be built at the Zhejiang Ouhua Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. shipyard in China.
Each of the 37,000 dwt bulk carrier will be equipped with four cranes. In addition to the cranes Cargotec’s delivery also comprises design and key components for MacGregor 2 + 2 folding type hatch covers, with a total of 20 panels on each ship.
Cargotec’s other order consist of the delivery of design and key components for another nine 82,000 dwt bulk carriers to be built at the same shipyard.
